Coaching can be a great addition to therapy, but does not take the place of therapy. Therapy focuses on examining and processing significant psychological and emotion based symptoms with a licensed provider who can diagnose and treat mental health disorders. Coaches do not diagnose, prescribe, or provide therapy. Coaches do collaborate with you to determine what small, achievable steps will help you work towards your goals in a solution-focused and present oriented way.
